Reading rates
Table 8 below compares reading times at 4 kbit/s
for the six protocols. The optimum repeat delay
setting was chosen in each case. Reading rate is
linear with data bit rate. At a bit rate of 64 kbit/s,
the reading rates are 16 times faster than at 4
kbit/s.
