Dynamic Load Response
Figure L shows the output voltage transient when the
output of the HBA has a 7.5 to 10 amp transient with
a slew rate of 0.1Amp per microsecond is applied to
the output. The output has a Cout =220 µF. Figure M
shows the output voltage transient when the output
of the HBA has a 7.5 to 10 amp transient with a slew
rate of 1.0 Amp per microsecond is applied to the
output. The output has a Cout =4700 µF.

Ripple and Noise
Figure N shows the output voltage ripple waveform,
measured at full rated load current with a 10 µF
tantalum and 1 µF ceramic capacitor across the
output. Note that all output voltage waveforms are
measured across a 1 µF ceramic capacitor. The
input reflected-ripple current waveforms are obtained
using the test setup shown in Figure O.
