Heatsink (HS) option
Thermal resistance

The PKM4000E series DC/DC converters can be
ordered with a heatsink (HS) option . The heatsink
option have approximately 5 °C improved derating
compared with the PKM4000E without heatsink .
The HS option is intended to be mounted on a cold
wall to transfer heat away from the converter .
Available load current vs . ambient air temperature and airflow
at Vin=53 V . DC/DC converter mounted vertically with airflow
and test conditions as per the Thermal consideration section .
