Special I/O Modules
General Information
The High-density Input Modules let you pack
more I/O points into a single I/O slot for greater
space savings. Being treated as Special I/O
modules, they do not use standard I/O points.
Thus, they increase the overall I/O capacity.
They provide 32 discrete input points with
selectable response times of 2.5 ms or 15 ms.
For even shorter signals, 8 inputs can be
designated as quick-response inputs, to receive
selectable 1 ms or 4 ms signals. The modules
can also be used with Omron’s input blocks,
reducing wiring between control panels as well
as within control panels.
