5.11 Radio Test
The Radio Test window, as shown in
Figure
26, runs the radio test script dialog using one board
for radio testing or two boards for sending data between the boards. The application picks the
first boards from the List of Devices. If the devices are not connected, then change the order in
communication settings by using the “Communication Settings” option in the “Tools” menu.
Highlight the device and use the Move Up or Move Down button to change the order.
The Radio Test Script has two parts:
1. Radio testing
2. Packet Error Rate (PER) estimation
The PER must be below 1 % sending packets with 20 bytes payload to meet the 802.15.4
specification.
