Chapter 1
Introduction
The i.MX23 EVK helps you to develop multimedia communication applications using the
i.MX23 ARM-9 CPU.
The EVK is a stand alone board that supports application software development, target board
debugging, and optional circuit cards. A 4.3 inch LCD touch screen display panel is an optional
accessory for use with the EVK.
Figure 1-1 shows the EVK with the optional LCD Daughter Card.
