Chapter 2. Programming KEELOQ Encoders
Programming of KEELOQ Encoders requires 4 steps.
(1) Select the encoder
(2) Enter the manufacturer’s code
(3) Select the decoder
(4) Select the encoder options.
A KEELOQ encoder can be selected as you would any other device supported
by PRO MATE.

The next step is to click on the Program button. The user will then be prompted
for two 20-bit custodian keys. These are combined to form the manufacturer’s
key. The manufacturer’s key is used in key generation as described further in
the document.
