(1) 10 µF electrolytic capacitor
(1) Piezoelectric speaker

Build It
Build the circuit shown in Figure 8-3 Note that the resistor in the circuit on the left uses
the variable photoresistor. The circuit on the right is the circuit we used to play music in
Chapter #5.
You will have to calibrate both your circuit and program due to varying light conditions.
Do not point the photoresistor directly at the sun. We'll use the slot in the center of the
breadboard as our light collector. Point the photoresistor at the slot as shown in Figure 8-
4.
