The MAX7313 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled
and tested surface-mount, 16-output LED driver circuit
board. The circuit uses the MAX7313 IC, a 16-port
GPIO with LED intensity control, interrupt, and hot-
insertion protection. The EV kit includes four RGB LEDs
and four white LEDs (WLEDs) that can be controlled
simultaneously by the MAX7313. The EV kit demon-
strates the MAX7313 IC’s 8-bit PWM LED intensity con-
trol, 2-phase LED blinking, interrupt output, four-level
