Dot Correction
Besides global brightness control, the DM164 also has the capability to adjust the output
current of each channel IOUT00 to IOUT23 independently. The output current (I
adjusted in 128 steps from ((1/128)*100) % to 100% of the global brightness control
current. The following equation can calculate the dot correction current (I

Average Separate IOUT Waveform
The DM164 incorporates a different PWM counter, hence the IOUT waveform demonstrate
a very different characteristics compare to conventional PWM counter. In the DM164,
when IWAVE=”L,” the IOUT waveform is averagely divided into 32(maximum) sections.
Figure 11 shows the difference between traditional IOUT waveform and particular IOUT
waveform.
