The TBI interface can be used for 1000Mbps fiber operation. In this mode, the ZL50418 is connected to the Serdes
as shown in Figure 14. There are two TBI interfaces in the ZL50418 devices. To enable to TBI function, the
corresponding TXEN and TXER pins need to be boot strapped. See Ball – Signal Description for details.
