Special I/O Modules
General Information
The Interrupt Input Module allows real world
discrete inputs to interrupt the scan of the main
ladder logic program and execute specific
interrupt ladder logic. For systems requiring
immediate response and fast throughput from
field input signals, the Interrupt Input Module
can provide fast sub-scan execution and
response times. The Module can be configured
to provide immediate interrupts and scheduled
interrupts which repeat execution on a preset
time base. Interrupts can also be configured to
interrupt currently executing interrupt logic.
