DSP Embedded Line and Port Interface Controller
The XWAY™ DELIC and XWAY™ VIP chipset is the most flexible and optimized solution for telecom applications like digital
linecards in PBX and Central Office systems or central controllers in small and midsize PBX systems.
XWAY™ DELIC is available in two dedicated versions:
XWAY™ DELIC -LC (PEB 20570) is a line card controller providing switching, multiple HDLC and layer -1 control. XWAY™ DELIC -
PB (PEB 20571) additionally includes a programmable DSP for implementing PBX functionalities like tone/DTMF generation and
detection or conferencing. For switching and conferencing an optimized firmware has been developed. XWAY™ VIP (PEB
20590) and XWAY™ VIP -8 (PEB 20591), the new programmable U_PN and S/T transceivers, provides 8 layer -1 ports via IOM. -
2000 interface. Standard telecom ICs may be connected to XWAY™ DELIC via IOM -2/GCI.
