Description
The Intel® 440MX Scalable Low Power Board Development Kit
consists of an evaluation board, technical documentation and
demonstration software for embedded computing applications. The
kit supports Pentium® III processors (0.18µ) and Intel® Celeron®
processors (0.18µ) in a 495-pin µPGA package. The board
includes a processor side bus that automatically scales from 66
MHz to 100 MHz based on the processor used.
This kit enables developers to design a single board that can be populated at build time with any
of the Pentium III processors - Low Power or Celeron processors - Low Power, or Celeron
processors - Ultra Low Power in a µPGA package, providing developers with a wide range of price
and performance options, reducing the design and validation effort for multiple designs, lowering
the total cost of ownership by reducing warehouse inventory and manufacturing costs, and
providing faster time to market.
