International QM standards

international QM system standard ISO 9001
and in ISO TS 16949, which is based on the
former.
Corporate certification to ISO TS 16949
The EPCOS quality policy stipulates that its
QM system must satisfy the requirements of
the most demanding international standards
in any particular case. The company was
therefore certified to ISO TS 16949 in 2004. The EPCOS
QM system is continuously monitored by the company, and
is being developed systematically. A refusal to accept any
compromise in quality also means striving for continuous
improvement as part of an ongoing process.

wendung der Six-Sigma-Methodik verbessert EPCOS
konsequent die Beherrschung seiner Prozesse und damit
die Qualität seiner Produkte. Dass Kunden den strikten
Qualitätskurs honorieren, belegen eine Vielzahl von Aus-
zeichnungen. Immer anspruchsvollere Qualitätsanforderun-
gen werden heute durch die gesamte Produktionskette
weitergegeben. Zunehmend gelten härtere Qualitätsmaß-
stäbe in den Schlüsselmärkten von EPCOS, wie in der
Automobilindustrie, der Informations- und Kommunikati-
onstechnik, der Industrie- sowie der Konsum-Elektronik.
Internationale QM-Standards
Hersteller bestehen bei ihren Lieferanten auf QM-Systemen,
EPCOS in seiner Qualitätspolitik festgelegt: So wurde der
Konzern 2004 nach ISO TS 16949 zertifiziert. Das EPCOS-
QM-System wird intern ständig überprüft und systematisch
weiterentwickelt. Keine Kompromisse bei der Qualität zu
akzeptieren, heißt auch, in einem andauernden Prozess
immer noch besser zu werden.
