available in SC, ST, MT-RJ, or VF-45 versions for powerful

expansion or even “fiber to the desktop”!

This switch provides eight (8) 10/100Mbps RJ-45 Unshielded

Twisted-Pair ports with both an Auto MDI-MDIX Crossover

function that provides uplink from any port and an Auto-

Negotiation function that automatically detects the speed of the

device that you plug into it; either 10 or 100Mbps.

The Versa-Switch/801F has a dedicated 10/100Mbps bandwidth

and in full-duplex operation mode, the bandwidth for each port

effectively doubles, up to 200Mbps. The fiber optic modules are

available in Multi-Mode ST, SC, MT-RJ, and VF-45 version for

distances up to 2,000m and a Single Mode SC version for

distances up to 15,000m. These ports can be used as a fiber

uplink in a WAN setting or as a direct link in a LAN for “fiber to

the desktop”.
