Thomas & Betts original LRC 3 piece connector
design has been manufactured for over 25
years. The design is continually adapted and
improved to meet and exceed today’s cable
system requirements. Today’s 3 piece connector
design seizes the center conductor and
aluminum sheath of the cable through a 2 step
process. This design provides minimal cable pull
back with full view of center conductor entrance
into the seizing mechanism.
The “G” Series connectors feature a non-
metallic radiation sleeve which:
• Reduces craft sensitivity of cable to connector
• Reduces RF electrical ground path keeping
• Provides improved electrical characteristics
• Is friendly for installing on powered-up cables
