DB9 Serial Interface
See Figure 9 and Table 4 below for the DB9 Serial Interface pin out. A standard, straight-through serial cable
(included in this kit) can be used to connect the evaluation board to a PC serial port. The above-mentioned
eCashMonitor program then can be used to communicate with the board. See Appendix A: The eCash Processor.
This is the 1-Wire interface designed to be external to the board and accessible by the user or “customer”. It
provides a place for a DS1402-DR8 Blue Dot to be plugged in thus allowing customers easy access to make
contact with their user tokens for debiting purposes.
