Die Ladegeräte arbeiten nach der I - U - U - Kennlinie.
Die Geräte starten im Konstantstrombetrieb (Constant Current Mode). Wird
eine Zellenspannung von 2,37V erreicht, startet ein Timer und die Geräte
schalten um auf Konstantspannungsbetrieb (Starkladung / Boost mode).
Nach Ablauf einer Stunde schalten die Ladegeräte um auf Ladeerhaltung
(Standby mode). Dabei sinkt die Spannung auf die Ladeschlußspannung
(2,3V pro Zelle) ab. In diesem Standby mode fließen nur noch einige mA.
Sinkt die Zellenspannung z.B. durch Anschluß einer externen Last unter
einen bestimmten Wert, startet der Ladevorgang erneut.
The chargers are working according to the I - U - U - characteristic.
The units are starting in Constant Current Mode. Is a cell voltage of 2,37V
achieved, a timer starts and the units are switching to Constant Voltage Mode
(Boost Mode).
After one hour the charger are switching to trickle charging (Standby mode).
The battery voltage will drop to 2,3V per cell. In this Standby Mode the output
current is a few mA only.
In case a load is connected to the battery, the cell voltage will drop below a
certain value and the charging process will start again.

Diese automatischen Ladegeräte können Blei-
akkumulatoren aufladen.
Auf der Front der Geräte wird der Ladezustand der zu
ladenden Batterien angezeigt. Bei praktisch leerer Bat-
terie leuchtet die LED in roter Farbe, bei voller Batterrie
leuchtet die LED grün. Dazwischen leuchtet die LED
orange. Bei einem verpolt angeschlossenen Akku wird
der Ladevorgang nicht gestartet. Der zu ladende Akku
wird über das mitgelieferte Ladekabel an der Front-
platte angeschlossen. Achten Sie auf richtige Polung
(rote = Plus +, schwarz = Minus –) Ein temperatur
und leistungsgesteuerter Lüfter sorgt für die Kühlung
des Gerätes.
Lieferumfang:
Bleiakkulader EA-BC 500 inkl. Netzkabel mit Schuko-
Stecker, Ladekabel u. Bedienungsanleitung.
Funktionen
Belüftung
Das Gerät ist mit einem Lüfter ausgestattet. Es ist zu
beachten, daß die Luftkonvektion nicht behindert wird.
Ein Abstand von 5 cm zu benachbarten Gegenstän-
den muß eingehalten werden.
Der Lüfter läuft an, sobald sich das Gerät sich im Be-
trieb erwärmt.
Netz
Das Gerät wird über das ca. 900mm lange Netzkabel
(3 x 0,75 mm
Netz angeschlossen.
Das Gerät verfügt auf der Rückseite über einen Netz-
schalter. Dieser muß zum Betrieb eingeschaltet wer-
den. Die LED „Netz“ leuchtet auf, das Gerät ist be-
triebsbereit.
DC-Anschluß (Batterie-Anschluß)
Der Anschluß des Akkumulators an die Ausgangs-
klemmen MUSS ausgeschalteten Zustand des Lade-
gerätes erfolgen. Es darf jeweils nur 1 Akkumulator mit
der entsprechenden Nennspannung angeschlossen wer-
den. Es dürfen keine Akkus parallel geschaltet
werden!
Die LED “Battery“ leuchtet nach Anschluß des Akkus
auf in der Farbe ihres Ladezustands.
Zum Anschluß sollte das mitgelieferte Kabel verwen-
det werden, die rote Leitung wird an Plus (+) und die
schwarze Leitung an Minus (-) angeschlossen, sowohl
am Akkumulator wie auch am Gerät.
Bei Verwendung einer anderen Zuleitung, ist zu be-
achten, daß der Kabelquerschnitt mindestens 2,5 mm
beträgt.

These automatic battery charger are suitable for
charging lead acid batteries.
The charge condition of the battery is indicated by a
LED on the frontpanel. With a practical empty battery
the LED is lit with red colour, with a fully charged bat-
tery the LED will lit green.Between fully cahrged and
nearly empty the LED is lit orange.
The battery to charge is connected via the supplied
charging cable to the terminals on the front panel. Be
aware of correct polarity (red = Plus +, black = Minus –)
A build in temperature and power controlled fan is cool-
ing the unit.
Scope of delivery:
Battery charger EA-BC 500 incl. mains cable with pro-
tective earth plug (Schuko), charging cable and user
manual.
Functions
Cooling
A build in fan starts to operate the cooling of the unit
as soon the unit is warming up. It is important that the
air circulation remains unimpeded at all times.
Keep at least 5cm space to all neighbouring objects.
Mains Connection
The unit is equipped with a 900mm long mains cable
(3 x 0,75mm
On the rear is the mains On/Off switch. Is this switch in
"On" position, the LED “Power” on the front is lit and
the unit is operationable.
DC-Connection (Battery-Connection)
The battery MUST only be connected to the output ter-
minals whilst the charger is switched OFF.
Only one battery of the rated voltage may be con-
nected to the charger. Never use batteries in parallel.
The LED “Battery” lits on when the battery is connected
in a colour according to the charge condition.
For the battery connection use the supplied charging
cables, the red cable is connected to the positive (+)
terminal and the blue cable for the negative (–) termi-
nal on the unit and the battery.
If using an other cable use at least 2,5 mm
section.
