The PowerSmart Battery Manager Evaluation Kit for
NiMH/NiCAD chemistries provides the opportunity to
evaluate a Microchip battery management solution for
six to ten series cell Nickel-based battery packs. The
evaluation kit contains all of the hardware and software
necessary to implement a functional SmartBattery pack
with a LED state-of-charge display. The kit can be used
to configure and demonstrate functionality of the
PS402 Battery Manager IC and the PS4200 Battery
Manager Module.
