Mount EBP bar with two M5 pan-head screws, minimum 12mm long
The EBP bar should be fixed to the edge of a bench or other suitable work equipment
within reach and accessible to all connecting ground cords, but where it is unlikely to
be knocked and damaged or hinder the operator.
Connect earthing cord to a suitable earth. A spare ring terminal is supplied if the cord
needs to be shortened.
The bar is 72 x 37 x 38mm in size and is made of ABS. It can be supplied in grey or
yellow. The yellow bar has a rear cover to prevent access to the resistors.
The bars are available with a variety of connectors: 4, 7 or 10mm stud 4mm female
or male safety socket. Maximum three connectors per bar.
Resistors are usually built-in to each connector. The resistors are 1MΩ ±5% rated at
1W. They will withstand 500V DC for over 6 minutes.
