Percent Motor Load Meters
Hoyt Percent Motor Load Meters provide a visual analog
display of AC motor load while in operation. Meter scale
illustrates percent load from 0-150%. Color bands indicate
the segment as follows:
Green:
Yellow:
Red:
AC load meters can be utilized with all AC motors of any
horsepower, voltage, frequency or phase. Application of
these meters can prevent overloading and motor burn-out,
optimize operating load conditions or indicate the need for
maintenance or replacement. Highly damped movements
are used, which delay full scale pointer excursion, to avoid
meter overload due to in-rush (starting) current.
