Consists of tightly braided fiberglass designated Class 240C
insulation that is heat annealed to remove organic impurities,
improve handling and reduce end fraying. The sleeving is com-
patible with varnishes, epoxies and bonding agents where
maximum reinforcement between the glass and encapsulant is
needed. Utilizes primary and secondary insulation for motor
leads, small appliances, brush assemblies, electric resistance
heating elements and similar low voltage applications. It is the
ideal choice for abrasion and cut-through protection over insu-
lated leads. The addition of a tan-colored, high-temperature resin
dye affords additional fray resistance and firmness for cutting and
installation. Both colors sold in spools of 100 FT.

Protects and contains groups of con-
ductors, cables or hoses. Can be used
for temporary or permanent installa-
tions. Useful for harnesses which carry
wiring around sharp corners. Leads can
be broken out at any point to make a
“tailor-made”, tight-fitting harness. Type
HWN is nylon. Type HWP is polyethylene.
