Two NEW Flow Sensors

November 2009—Schaumburg, IL USA—Omron Electronic Components LLC

announces the release of a new 10 m/s Air Velocity Sensor (D6F-W10A1) and a

Manifold Mount 1 LPM Flow Sensor (D6F-P0010AM2). Both sensors incorporate

Omron’s MEMS Mass Flow Chip and patented Dust Segregation System flow path

designs. They also feature amplified, temperature compensated analog output signals to

simplify the integration process by minimizing additional circuitry requirements.

The D6F-W10A1 was developed for higher velocity applications including commercial

and industrial ventilation systems, draft chambers, and laboratory hoods/clean bench

applications where velocities are above the previous maximum of 4 m/s in this series.

The Manifold Mount D6F-P was designed for space-limited applications in which the

sensor can flange mount directly to a manifold, eliminating the need for internal tubing.

Target markets include portable medical devices and hand-held test equipment.

needs for flow sensing products that were not being met in the current marketplace,” said
