When Tover goes active high, it drives Trip Test high. Trip Test high causes Tover to stay high. It is therefore latched. To release
the latch: Power down then power up. The LM57 always comes up in a released condition.
The TRIP TEST pin, normally used to check the operation of the T
the temperature exceeds the programmed limit and causes the digital outputs to assert. As shown in the figure, when T
high the TRIP TEST input is also pulled high and causes T
switching the TRIP TEST input low will reset the LM57 to normal operation. The resistor limits the current out of the T
pin.
