The Linx LS Series encoders and
decoders provide a simple, but reliable,
protocol for the transmission of switch
closures or button contacts. This series
can find use in any basic, low-cost remote
control application. Simply take a data line
high on the encoder and a corresponding
line will go high on the decoder. No
programming or addressing is required,
making integration of the LS extremely
easy while maintaining a robust link.
