The following functions are implemented in the MAC. The response functions are called
from the application in order to respond to an indication function. These response func-
tions are listed in alphabetical order.
Used to initiate a response to an MLME ASSOCIATE Indication message.
The Semantics of the service call are:
If requested, the MAC will issue the MLME COMM-STATUS Indication with a status of
SUCCESS.
Allows the next higher layer of a coordinator to respond to the MLME ORPHAN Indica-
tion message
The Semantics of the service call are:
If the MPDU was successfully transmitted and an acknowledgment was received, if
requested, the MAC sub layer will issue the MLME COMM-STATUS Indication message
with a status of SUCCESS.
