A/D
See Analog to Digital.
Acquisition Time (T
)
ACQ
This is related to Analog to Digital (A/D) converters. This is the time that the A/D’s holding capac-
itor acquires the analog input voltage level connected to it. When the GO bit is set, the analog
input is disconnected from the holding capacitor and the A/D conversion is started.
ALU
Arithmetical Logical Unit. Device logic that is responsible for the mathematical (add, subtract, ...),
logical (and, or, ...), and shifting operations.
Analog to Digital (A/D)
