Description
The purpose of this demonstration board is to
provide a demonstration platform for the key
features of STMicroelectronics ZigBee
compliant wireless networking solutions. ZigBee
the leading wireless control and sensory network
solution, stands apart from other RF solutions as
the only standards-based technology that
addresses the unique needs of remote monitoring
and control of sensory network applications, and
enables broad-based deployment of wireless
mesh networks with low-cost, low-power
solutions.
It is capable of operating for years on inexpensive
primary batteries for a typical monitoring
application.
The STEVAL-IFS013V2 demonstration board
offers USB interfacing operating either under USB
communication device class (CDC) for virtual
COM port connectivity, or under device firmware
upgrade (DFU) class for reprogramming
applications through USB.
