Models AT-GM-11KM and AT-HM-11KM Two-Hand Control Modules
A1-A2: 115V ac (Model AT-GM-11KM) or 230V ac (Model AT-HM-11KM), +/- 15%; 50/60Hz
B1-B2: 24V dc, +/- 15%, 10% max. ripple
Approx. 4 W / 7 VA
Protected against transient voltages and reverse polarity
Outputs (K1 and K2): two redundant (total of four) safety relay (forced-guided) contacts
NOTE: Transient suppression is recommended when switching inductive loads. Install suppressors
24V dc @ 1A
(applied between Y30 & Y31)
500 mA max., short circuit protected, Y32 is a PNP output, Y33 is an NPN output
35 milliseconds maximum ON to OFF
Outputs from actuating devices must each be capable of switching up to 20 mA @ 12V dc.
≤ 500 milliseconds
24V dc @ 150 mA (for STB button power, separate from Auxiliary output, unregulated)
One pair of terminals (Y1 and Y2) are provided to monitor the state of external devices controlled by
the safety outputs. Each device must be capable of switching 15 to 30V dc at 10-50 mA.
The muting devices work as a pair (M1 and M2). The simultaneity requirement is that they be “closed”
within 3 seconds of each other to initiate a mute condition or allow a mute cycle, assuming all other
conditions are met. Each muting device must be capable of switching 15 to 30V dc at 10-50 mA.
Mute Enable input must be closed in order to start a mute cycle. Opening this input after a mute cycle
has begun has no effect. The switching device must be capable of switching 15 to 30V dc at 10-50 mA.
This input consists of two concurrent channels (SSI-A and SSI-B) and is always active. Any time
either or both channels open, the Safety Outputs will go OFF. When using the SSI, the external device
must be capable of switching 15 to 30V dc at 10-50 mA.
6 green LED indicators and 1 red LED indicator (see Figure 1 and page 13)
Polycarbonate. Rated NEMA 1 (IEC IP20)
Mounts to standard 35 mm DIN rail track. Safety Module must be installed inside an enclosure rated
NEMA 3 (IEC IP54), or better.
10 to 55Hz @ 0.35 mm displacement per IEC 68-2-6
Temperature: 0° to +50°C (+32° to 122°F)
Maximum Relative Humidity: 90% @ +50°C (non-condensing)
Heat Dissipation Considerations: See page 7.
See Figure 9 on the back page.
4 per ISO 13849-1; Type IIIC per ISO 13851 (EN574)
Approvals in process. Contact factory for more information.
DUO-TOUCH SG Safety Module Specifications
across load. Never install suppressors across output contacts (see Warning on page 10).
Contact ratings:
Maximum voltage: 250V ac or 250V dc
Maximum current: 6A ac or dc (resistive load)
Maximum power: 1500 VA, 100 watts
Mechanical life: 50,000,000 operations
Electrical life: 150,000 cycles (typically @ 1.5 kVA switching power)
